I am a UX and inclusion designer living in Seattle and I like solving wicked problems. I love working with different people and businesses; I learn all about them and where they want to go, and then help them get there. I spend a lot of my time designing, sketching, reading, learning, and playing basketball. I am now also enjoying married life.
Over the past 13 years I have had the opportunity to create a brand new company as the designer and first employee of PitchBook, I have worked as tech advisor, designer, and developer for the ACLU, Washington State Access to Justice, election campaigns for supreme court justices Mary Yu & Steve Gonzalez, and I have worked with local Seattle businesses such as TheShop & Kimberly Baker. Today I work as a senior designer on the core UX design team of Splunk where we seek to help people and businesses leverage unleash the power of big data in an ever–growing number of ways.
My focus in life is to grow, connect, and laugh. I seek to bring the power of diversity and inclusion to the tech industry and beyond. To work towards this I have started a side-project to seek ways to “upgrade our humanity” and evolve the human experience.
